Natural Remedies for Hair

The hair has three layers:

The cuticle: This is the outermost layer. This consists of flattened squamous cells and serves as a protective wall against water and dirt. When the cohesion of these cells is damaged hair loses its brightness and the ends open.

Crust: This layer consists of keratinized cells and the pigment that gives color to hair. This layer is responsible for giving color, strength, elasticity and flexibility to hair.

Medulla: This is the central part of the hair. The very fine hair does not have this part.

To have beautiful hair, the best advice is watch your diet. A balanced diet as well as benefit your overall health, will help you have a hair silky, rich and full of shine.

General Recommendations

Water – Approximately 70% of the hair is composed of water. The recommendation is to drink 8 glasses of water a day.

vitamins for hair – The most important vitamins for beautiful hair are vitamin A, B group vitamins and vitamin E. Vitamin A benefits to the scalp and the B vitamins, especially biotin, give it strength. Vitamin E helps the healthy growth of hair. Include a variety of fruits and vegetables in your diet to gain their benefits.

Minerals – minerals essential for healthy hair are: silica, calcium, copper, zinc and iron. Include in your diet breads and cereals, oats than the snapshot, cucumbers, broccoli, bell pepper (green and red), beans, cheddar cheese, yogurt.

Proteins and amino acids – meat, seafood, milk and dairy products, beans, lentils and nuts are rich sources of protein and amino acids. The hair is composed by 90% protein, so eating these foods will result in a strong hair less likely to damage, lose brightness or develop split ends.

Other factors to be taken into account:

* Choose either the shampoo. You must first know what kind of hair you have. If it’s oily, dry, mixed or normal. Choose products for your hair according to its type.

* Massage your scalp. The massage stimulates blood circulation. An abundant supply of blood to the scalp will grow better.

* Use the dryer, flat iron and curling to a minimum. Neither abuse of chemicals such as dyes,
