Baldness

BaldnessAlopecia is a medical term that describes the complete or partial loss of hair. Baldness is a colloquial word which refers to hair loss, especially in men, which tends to be genetic but that many more factors influence the purely hereditary.

COMMENTS

With age for both men and women lose hair density. Men develop a typical pattern of baldness, which is associated with the presence of testosterone (male hormone). In women, pattern baldness or hair loss is more diffuse. Usually the hair loss baldness is gradual and limited to head hair.

The typical hereditary baldness trend affects 25% of men before age 30 and another 50% before 60 years.

Keep in mind that the overall mean is to have more than 100,000 individual hairs and baldness can lose 100 hairs a day.

Each hair has a lifespan of 4 to 5 years, growing from 1 to 2 cm per month, after falls. At 6 months a new hair grows in the same place, but there is a loss baldness control of this replacement and therefore the same note. In itself there is a hair loss but a lack of new output.
